CAMP MAY BOOKCLUB: Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance
Meet us for our bookclub meeting on Sunday, May 12, 11am at Rivers and Road Cafe in Chicago to discuss our book of the month. This cafe is national parks themed and offers coffees, teas, pastries and a light lunch. Check them out here.
This month we are reading Zen and the Art of motorcycle maintenance. Sign up on meetup or send an email to info@motocamping.club to confirm you are coming. You don’t need to be a CAMP member to attend the bookclub.
Pirsig wrote this book exactly 50 years ago, and although this is mentioned often as a must read in the motorcycle community, once you read it you realize that it has very little to do with motorcycle maintenance, but more about a definition of morals and what's good and bad and how to discern it. More info here.
CAMP Bookclub meets to discuss books that are motorcycle and outdoor related. You don't need to be a member of CAMP - The Motocamping Club to attend the bookclub. Please come with ideas for next month's book!
