CAMP events down South

2024 marks CAMP’s fifth anniversary, and the list of motocamping events we have put together is our best one yet. CAMP was originally funded in Chicago, but the vast majority of our motocamping events this year (10 out of 15) is OUTSIDE of the Midwest. Today we are going to focus on our planned activities in the Southern/Eastern region of our beautiful country.

We have FOUR events planned in the South, and one that starts in the South and ends all the way up. These events are conveniently located within a two-three hour radius of most of our Southern members, although they can be attended by ANY CAMP member (once you are a member you have access to all our events, no matter where they are).

Let’s have a look at our Southern offer:

  • On May 17-19 we have our Smoky S’more, in the Smoky Mountains National Park, in Tennessee. Although we have been to the Smokies many times, this is a new camping location for us, and we are very excited about it. This S’more is $45 per person. More info here.

  • On July 12-14 we have our Briar Bottom S’more, in Burnsville, NC. This is again a new location for us, and it costs $55 per person. All info and sign up is here.

  • On October 3-7 we have our CAMP Down Rally in Virginia. This is an event that you won’t want to miss, with lots of fun activities and a great opportunity to get some world class training by the folks at DC Dirt Camp. All info and sign up here.

  • On October 6-12 we will be riding the Mid Atlantic BDR Ride for the first time. This route will start from Virginia, from the same location of our rally, and snake all the way up to Pennsylvania. Info and sign up here.

You can see our full motocamping schedule here. Over the next couple of weeks we will zero in on our Western events and our Midwestern events.
