CAMP events out West

As you know, 2024 marks CAMP’s fifth anniversary, and I think that the list of camping events we have put together is our best one yet: the vast majority of our motocamping events this year (10 out of 15) is OUTSIDE of the Midwest. A couple of weeks ago we talked about our five events scheduled down South. Today we are going to focus on our SIX planned activities out West: three in Colorado, two in South Dakota and one in Arizona.

  • On April 14-17 we will have our motocamping season opener in Arizona, in Sedona. This is a new destinations for us, and the first time we head to the Southwest region. Picture beautiful roads in gorgeous red desert canyons…and if we are lucky the weather should be perfect. This S’more is $95 per person. More info here.

  • On June 14-16 we have the first of our three events in Colorado: our Arrapaho S’more, in the Colorado forest by the same name. This S’more is only $30 per person and will offer both paved and dual sport routes. More info here.

  • On July 24-29 we are holding two events in South Dakota at the same time: the Black Hills S’more (paved) and the Black Hills BDR X ride (dual sport). If you are planning to only ride paved roads, just come for the S’more ($160 per person). If you are planning to ride the Backcountry Discovery Route, you need to get a spot for the S’more AND the BDR X add on ($50) - the two groups will be camping at the same location for most of the days, but riders of the BDR X will also spend a night elsewhere. The Black Hills is also a new destination for CAMP, and it has proven very popular: if you would like to join either of these events, get your spot ASAP, because we are almost full…

  • On August 8-13 we will ride the Colorado BDR, North/South. This is a dual sport ride, and a demanding one at that. We will ride a section a day, and at the end of it you will have the chance to either go home or go directly to our next event below. All info and sign up here - $190 per person.

  • On August 14-18 we will have our third annual Colorado S’more inside the Rocky Mountains National park. This will be a paved event, riding the wonderful mountain roads that Colorado is famous for. $95 per person.

You can see our full motocamping schedule here. Over the next couple of weeks we will zero in our Midwestern events.
