Seminars, trainings and the return of the bookclub

After the publication of the entire CAMP 2023 Motocamping trip schedule, it is time to announce a whole set of seminars and trainings for the next six months, including the return of our bookclub. Winter is coming, but we are going to keep the motocamping flame alive over the next few months. This is how.

We are stepping up the seminars and training game. Our friends from Heavy Enduro, Andy Janik and Susan Seo - amazing off road and track trainers, racers and mechanics - have kindly offered to teach us many things about how to better prepare our motorcycles for next season and how to choose the right gear and bikes depending on your body type (see links below). And all this absolutely free for CAMP members (not a member? Easy fix).

But that’s not all: we have scheduled two off road trainings with Heavy Enduro just for CAMP members, in May, right before our off road Wisconsin Adventure Ride and in August, right before CAMP Colorado BDR ride. And the discount Heavy Enduro gives to CAMP members is alone more than the cost of the CAMP membership…If you want to support the Heavy Enduro folks, you can get one of their jerseys - preorder here).

But wait - there is more! Our own member Goran is going to be teaching us why we should be considering getting into ham radios as motorcyclists; I will be teaching you how to build routes and import them into your phone or GPS without using Garmin desktop software; our member Michael, who did the ALCAN 5000 Rally last year, is going to teach us how to prep your bike and yourself for a long off road Backcountry Discovery route (like our ride in Colorado in August). We will have seminars on how to set up your go-pro as a…pro on your motorcycle.

And CAMP bookclub is back on the menu - every month we will be reading a different book about motorcycle traveling, the outdoors, or anything in between, and meet up to discuss it while sipping on a drink. The first bookclub meeting will be on December11. All bookclub dates are here.

Below and at this link you can find the list of the seminars we have already scheduled, with individual links with plenty info and how to sign up.
