PENNSYLVANIA S’MORE AND BDR X - JUNE 25-28
WHAT AND WHEN
Join us in the beautiful woods of Pennsylvania on June 25-28, with an event that offers both paved and unpaved riding options. You will in fact have the choice to either ride the wonderful paved roads of the Pennsylvania forests or to ride the Pennsylvania Wilds Backcountry Discovery Route X, a 500 mile loop mixing gravel, forest roads and paved roads.
Pennsylvania is a truly underrated State, as far as motorcycle riding is concerned, and this event will prove it to you: with over 60% of its territory covered in forests, this State is a pleasure to ride in, especially in the month of June.
If you are interested in the riding the BDR X, please be aware that the route runs mostly on dirt and gravel roads, with short stretches of great pavement throughout. A dual sport or ADV bike with appropriate tires is recommended. There are a few more optional advanced sections for those looking for a bit of a challenge, but in general this BDR is considered one of the easiest and yet more spectacular in terms of landscapes, as long as you like riding through forests.
WHERE
All participants will share the same campground for the first and last night in the Elk State Forest, but those riding the BDR X will camp in a different spot on Day 2 and Day 3.
