CAMP LAKE HURON CIRCLE MOTOCAMPING RIDE - SEPTEMBER 4-11, 2026
WHAT AND WHEN
Join us for CAMP’s first ride around Lake Huron, on September 4-11, 2026. After riding around Lake Michigan in 2024 and around Lake Superior in 2025, it is time to ride around Lake Huron!
The Lake Huron Circle Tour (LHCT) traverses a 1,059-mile (1,704 km) route around the second-largest Great Lake, through Michigan and Ontario. Those two jurisdictions roughly split the mainline route mileage of the LHCT—55% in Ontario and 45% in Michigan. YOU NEED A VALID PASSPORT to join this ride.
We will send every attendants plenty of information, the GPX files and everything you need to know about the ride.
WHAT’S THE PLAN?
We will be camping every night in a different place. Our first night, Friday September 4th, will be spent on the Michigan’s shores of Lake Huron. From there, we will be riding clockwise, follow the perimeter of the lake, crossing Mackinac Bridge, exploring also Manitoulin Island and the Bruce Peninsula. This ride will take us through beautiful landscapes and will give us PLENTY OF TIME every day to explore the many natural beauties around our route. The average mileage per day will be 150 miles.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND HOW DO I BOOK?
This event costs $375 per rider. This includes your 7 nights of camping, plus a rider book with plenty of information about the ride.
Please note: CAMP S’mores and rides are open to members only. If you are not a member please add your membership to your cart before you pay for your S’more. Your S’more reservation will not be completed unless you are a member.
WHAT BIKE SHOULD YOU RIDE?
Any bike, as long as it is street legal and can go up to highway speed, will be perfect. This is NOT an off road ride, although a gravel road may pop up here and there to access certain locations.
You would like to join but don’t have a suitable motorcycle? Become a CAMP Plus member, and you get 4 days of motorcycle rental included in your membership.
